At Steps2Paradise, our mission is to enrich your prayer experience through thoughtfully designed products that foster focus, tranquility, and a deeper connection with Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).

Like many, I once found myself caught between the demands of daily life, family, education, and work, using them as reasons, or sometimes excuses, to not fully commit to my faith. But Alhamdulillah, through the mercy and guidance of Allah, I came to realise that the only true way to find peace and purpose in life is by turning to Him wholeheartedly.

As I embarked on this journey of spiritual growth, I began to appreciate how essential Salah is in building that connection. But coming from a non-Arabic background, I was recited the prayers without understanding their meanings. Determined to change that, I learned the interpretations of the words in Salah. This understanding transformed my perspective, helping me see life’s challenges not as obstacles, but as blessings that shape and refine us. Allah is always there; it’s up to us to seek Him.

However, as I tried to make my prayers more meaningful by focusing on their meaning, I encountered a new challenge: I began to lose track of my rakats. I would get distracted, unsure of how many units I had completed, and this disrupted my concentration and connection during prayer.

I searched for a solution, something simple, unobtrusive, and easy to use. I found an interactive prayer mat online, but this was more for beginners and not suitable for established Muslims. I also found a digital rakat counters, but the number display was too small and would need concentration to read comfortably in a standing position.

That’s when the idea of the Sajood Counter was born.

After three years of research, development, and dedication, the Sajood Counter has become a reality, a simple and practical tool to help you maintain focus during Salah without breaking your spiritual flow. Whether you're someone who struggles with memory or simply wants a more mindful prayer experience, I pray this tool serves you well on your journey toward closeness with Allah.
